Introduction

Welcome to my Flight Training Diary. This is a record of my JAR PPL training, and it serves two purposes:

  • To allow me to debrief, consolidate and revise for myself what I learn in each lesson;
  • Hopefully, to be of interest and information to anyone else considering or undertaking flying training!

This blog was started on 16th April, 2007, and on 1st December 2009, with 59 hours and 10 minutes of logged flying time, I passed my PPL(A) skills test. Since passing the test, I’m now writing about the flights I make as I build my skills and experience, and I’m considering pursuing instrument and night qualifications in the not-too-distant future.
